Beginning this summer, we are bringing together firearms organizations and gun violence prevention advocates in Franklin County, PA and Washington, DC to take joint action that improves gun safety and prevents violence.
Through our “Financial Planning to Support Re-Entry Across the Urban/Rural Divide" program, we'll be working with Thrive DC, New Hope Shelter, and the Financial Planning Association to connect underserved populations in Waynesboro, PA and Washington, DC -- people who were previously incarcerated and/or live or lived in a homeless shelter -- with free, quality financial help from certified financial planners from FPA chapters.
