Uniting for Action: Pennsylvania Taking Action Across Pennsylvania's Urban/Rural Divide
What is this program all about? This is a NON-PARTISAN initiative to build connections and take joint action to address community challenges across distance and difference in Pennsylvania.
Who is leading this effort? The program reflects a collaboration among Urban Rural Action, the Free Library of Philadelphia's “Hear Me Out" civic dialogue program, and the the PA Project for Civic Engagement's “Can We Talk?" program.
Who is this for? Pennsylvania residents 18+ from urban, suburban, and rural areas with wide-ranging views who are tired of waiting for elected officials to address their community's needs AND want to take action themselves to improve the Commonwealth. In other words, it's for you!
How are we doing this? We meet online for structured discussion, small group brainstorming, and collaboration focused on TAKING ACTION to strengthen our communities.
