What is UPTV's Dauphin County Team? UPTV's Dauphin County Team is a team of community members who are working across differences to prevent targeted violence in the Uniting to Prevent Targeted Violence (UPTV) in South-Central Pennsylvania Program. (Read more about UPTV and targeted violence here).
The Dauphin County Teamis working with Just for Today Recovery and Veteran Support Services to equip social service providers and veterans with the skills of constructive dialogue, dispute resolution, and trauma awareness, with the goal of increasing the understanding and awareness of the challenges veterans face in Dauphin County, thereby improving veterans’ quality of life and reducing the likelihood of their committing an act of targeted violence.
